Trees for Muhammad ﷺ is a celebration of Mawlid and you are invited!
Islam places great emphasis on the protection of the environment. Muslims have a rich tradition of living in harmony with the natural world and honouring all creation of God. Our ummah is instructed to plant saplings, even if the Hour is upon us. Sadly, this way of life practiced by our pious predecessors has been forgotten in the modern world. Let us reclaim our heritage by tracing their sacred footsteps, and nurturing saplings, one by one, for the sake of seeking Allah's pleasure while fulfilling a beautiful sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
This Rabbi al Awal, we extend an invitation to you. Roll up your sleeves, pick up a shovel, and plant a tree wherever you are. If planting a tree isn't feasible, consider planting a houseplant seedling in a small pot within your home. While doing so, send your prayers and blessings to the Prophet of Islam, Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ.
